You're Tea-riffic!
Hello! Again with the no posts for a while...I had a card made, but didn't want to post it until my Mom had recieved it. It's Scarlett the Teacup Girl from Stamping Bella. Cute! I used her for a Mother's Day card with the sentiment "You're Tea-riffic" also from SB because my Mom loves her tea.
All the cs is from SU and the PP is from DCWV and is called Nana's Kitchen. I coloured her with my prismas and stamped the image twice to layer the flower on the cup for some dimension. I used some rhinestones, ribbon and a button from my stash and popped the circle up. I also ran the pink plaid paper through my CB with the Swiss Dots embossing folder for some more dimension, and I put a strip across the middle using my Martha Stewart Loopy border punch.
Hope you like it, and have a great weekend!

Serenity Now...
What a week. Today was the first time I've had any time or energy to devote to playing with my stamps. Between doing my taxes (what a headache) and work...long week indeed. On a brighter note, I finally got to colour up this cute digi stamp called "I'm Every Woman- Dhyana"from Sassy Studio Designs. Doesn't she look peaceful?
She's printed on SU whisper white cs and the card base is confetti white also from SU. The PP is from Chatterbox and has been in my stash for a very long time...The scraps are from Kaiser Craft. I coloured her up with my prisma pencils and cut her out with my CB and a round nestie. I popped up the circle to give some dimension. It's a pretty simple card, but I think the image called for simple. Anyway, here's hoping for a good weekend with some great weather. Not that I'll see any of it...work...augh!

Birthday Bash!
A friend of mine requested a card for her little nephew's 1st birthday. I don't own a lot of "boy-ish" stamps, but I thought Monstah Bash from Stamping Bella would do the trick.
These cute fuzzy little guys are stamped in Versafine ink onto SU ultrasmooth white cs and coloured with my prisma pencils. The sentiment is also from Stamping Bella and stamped using a Baroque Burgundy marker from SU. I used Certainly Celery and Not Quite Navy also from SU. I'm unsure of the pp, sorry. The colours don't match as well in the photo as they do in person...
I ran the blue layer through my CB using the Tiny Bubbles embossing folder. I also, by some divine intervention found the eyelets in a box the other day that I haven't unpacked since moving ( I won't even admit to how long it's been), and they matched the colours I was using! Yay! I haven't used an eyelet in ages. Then, apparently, the card matches the gift she is making for her nephew! Spooky...

The Meadow
Have I mentioned my love of all things "Twilight"? I recently discovered a digi stamp company called Pixie Dust Studio and what did I find there..."Love Sparkles "How cute are they?
I stamped Edward and Bella onto some SU ultra smooth white cs and coloured them with my prisma pencils. I should also mention because it can't be seen in the photo, that Edward does indeed sparkle. I coloured his skin with my clear spica pen. I layered them onto some pp from Kaiser craft (that I ran through my CB using the Stylized Flowers embossing folder) that I've been hoarding for a while :) and all of that onto some Going Gray from SU and a purple from Bazzil. The sentiment is from "Fictionally Inspired" by Artful Inkables and it's stamped with Going Gray also. I finished my card off with some pretty purple ribbon that I picked up from Micheals.
Hope you like it and I'd love to hear from you...

Sweetness and butterflies...
Hello again! This weeks challenge over at Stamping Bella is "Free Form Friday", so I took the opportunity to finally ink up beautiful Gertie Lulu. Isn't she adorable?
I stamped her on Bellas Bestest white and used some Bazzil cs this week for the base and layers. The ds paper is from the Making Memories Love Struck collection and Basic Grey's Urban Prairie collection. I coloured her with you guessed it, my prismacolour pencils and used a yellow atyou spica pen on her dress (which looks darker in the photo than in rl) and a clear spica pen on the butterflies. I finished each of the 3 rectangles with a yellow rhinestone from Micheals.
I used my brand new rectangle and scalloped rectangle nesties for Gertie and popped up the image for some dimension. The pattern for this card was from a challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie. Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment.

Movin' on up!
Recently a friend of mine bought his first home. I made this card for him. Making cards for men is a little more difficult, it's hard to get away from the "girly-ness" of this craft (for me anyway). I decided to use sketch 133 from Mojo Monday and off I went...
I used Chocolate Chip cs from SU as my solid colour and the ds paper is Farm Fresh from October Afternoon. I think I'll have to see if I can get more of this one...I stamped Happy Neighborhood from Stamping Bella on ultrasmooth white from SU and coloured with my prisma colour pencils. I ran the long strip in the middle through my CB with the Swiss Dots embossing folder and tied some cute ribbon from Target down the middle. I popped up the oval and used several colours of stickles on the image to give it some "jazz"...lol
Hope you like it, and even more so, hope my friend does.

Time has flown...
Wow, I can't believe it's been a week since I last posted! I've been on vacation and spending time with my Mom who came to stay for the week. We've been pretty busy, hense, no posts. I did manage to make a card for the Bellarific Challenge today though. Todays was a sketch challenge.
I love sketchs, they are so much easier than straining my brain trying to come up with my own layout. And, I got to make it on my new table! So glad to not be hunched over my coffee table anymore...Anyway, back to the card...
I stamped my cute little Turtle Tots Baker from Stamping Bella onto my bella's bestest paper in white. I coloured him up with my prisma colour pencils and added a little sparkle to his shell with my melon atyou spica pen and my clear glaze pen got added to the yummy batter he's stirring up. Sadly, neither can really be seen in the picture...
I got this great paper on my cross border shopping trip, it's called Nana's Kitchen and it's made by DCWV. It's so pretty and glittery. Everything is layered on SU cs in Certainly Celery, Barely Banana and Pretty in Pink. I tied a bit of white polka dotted ribbon from my stash around the top in place of the flowers that are shown in the sketch.
Thanks for stopping by...

Blingy Bella
Hi, it's been a crazy week work wise (working until 3 and 4 in the morning) and it's left me feeling a little less than creative...I wanted to make sure that I was able to finally use my Blingabella stamp though from you guessed it, Stamping Bella. I've had her for a while and never inked her up before. This weeks Bellarific Challenge seemed like the perfect opportunity though. The challenge was to make a card that featured "Getting Hitched". Perfect right?
I stamped Blingabella on Bella's Bestest paper in white and coloured her with my Prismacolour pencils. I paperpieced her dress with some Making Memories paper from a stack called Sabrina. The rest of the PP on this card is also from this stack. It's an older stack, so I'm not sure that it's still available to buy anymore. I used my Threading Water punch from Fiskars and ran my scalloped oval through my CB with the Swiss Dots embossing folder. I popped up the oval for a little dimension. Despite the "Bling" in Bella's name, the only shine on the card is the little adhesive rhinestone I used as her engagement ring. BTW, the sentiment is also from Stamping Bella...
I hope you like it! I'm off work for the next week and I'm heading to the One of a Kind craft show on Friday and across the border on Saturday for a girls day of shopping with my Mom and sister. Oh the damage I'll do if I find a good stamp/scrap store...yikes!

Happy Birthday Little Sister!
March 28th is my youngest sisters birthday. She's a full 10 years younger than me, and I think I'm starting to feel jealous of her age...Regardless, I made her a card...lol! This is Twisted Tea, a digi stamp from The Greeting Farm. I love her! She makes me think that if Tim Burton ever got a hold of Gwen Stefani, this would be the result...lol. I have to admit, I saw a card on another blog that I liked so much I copied the idea, so I won't take credit for the design of this card.
She is printed on US white CS from Stampin'Up! and layered on basic black. I tossed in a little Pixie Pink (punched with my new Martha Steward Loopy Border punch) and some PP from Chatterbox. She is coloured with my Prismacolour Pencils and topped off with some flowers and rhinstone brads from my stash of goodies. I also added some faux stitching around the top with a white gel pen.
I'd love to hear what you think!

Bellarific Challenge
This card was done for a challenge on Bloggabella. It was a sketch challenge this week. I'm pretty pleased with the way this one turned out. Good thing, I ended up making 2 of them. I stamped Missmatch Ketto on my Bella's Bestest white paper and coloured her with my Prismacolour Pencils. The CS is Pumpkin Pie from Stampin'Up! and the PP is from my DCWV Citrus Pack. I really am loving the papers in that one. I used my oval and scalloped oval nesties to cut out the little lady and popped them up off the page. I also got to use my new Martha Stewart Loopy Border punch that I picked up when I went to Stamping Bella last Saturday. I was begining to think this punch was a figment of my imagination, I've never been able to find it before.I added a little felt flower and blue rhinestone brad, both from the Dollarama. You can find some good stuff there for crafting...This one is for a birthday that's coming up soon, I'm not going to say who, just in case she's reading this...hope you like it!

Book Lover
I recently got a library card for the Toronto Library. I've been putting a lot of books on hold, and they all seem to be coming in at once! I have a lot of reading to do! So, on that note, I'm posting a card I made a few weeks ago using Betty the Bookworm from Stamping Bella. Betty is stamped on US White layered on Real Red and Barely Banana CS, all from Stampin'Up! She is coloured using my Prismacolour Pencils and a blending medium. I'm not sure of the PP as I've had it in my stash for a while...I ran the red circle through my CB with the Swiss Dots embossing folder and added some ribbon that I picked up at Dollarama. The button and white ribbon are also stuff I've been hoarding...lol. It's a sickness that a lot of stampers/scrappers have, no? I need to find a better spot to photograph my cards, not the best quality, sorry :( Enjoy, and please leave a comment.

Cheeky little thing...
Well, it's a rainy day here in Toronto, but it was my day off, so, it was still top notch! I spent a little time stamping today, but I really have to get a new table to craft on. Crouching over my coffee table is not the epitome of comfort...ouch...
Todays card features Cheeky Rockabilly
from The Greeting Farm. Isn't she cute? So sassy...She is stamped on US White and layered on Tempting Turquoise (card base is also TT) all from Stampin'Up! The patterned paper is The Citrus Pack from DCWV. I coloured her using my Prismacolour Pencils and then added some gloss to her hair with Crystal Effects. I popped up the layers and added some flowers and a rhinestone brad from the Dollarama. I added a little sparkle to her outfit with my clear Atyou Spica pen. Hope you like her!

It's time, it's time...
Yes, it's time for the "New Moon" DVD to be released! I'm a huge Twilight Saga fan and will be heading out in a little while to first go see "The Runaways", which I am very excited about, and then I'm off to Best Buy because at midnight they start selling the DVD with an Edward action figure no less! In honour of the DVD release, I have a cute little card that I made a few weeks ago featuring a digi stamp from The Greeting Farm. His name is Edward and he is adorable! Anyone who has seen the movie will recognize the pose...swoon...lol
I printed Edward on Whisper White and layered him on Really Rust from SU, with a scrap of blue paper I ran through my CB using the Argyle embossing folder. I also used a scrap of patterned paper from Chatterbox. All of that is layered on Barely Banana (also SU). I coloured Edward using some coloured pencils and get this, I used Versamark Dazzle ink all over his skin to make him sparkle! I used some copper coloured string to tie on a handcut tag that reads "Team Edward" from the "Fictionally Inspired" stamp set from Artful Inkables.
I'm also looking forward to tomorrow as I'm off to Stamping Bella and I'm going to corrupt a friend who has just discovered stamping...mwah..ha..ha..

Easter Chick
Hi,and welcome back! Today I have a cute little card that I ended up making several of for some co-workers who needed some Easter cards. The little chick is a stamp from Imaginisce that I think is maybe retired now. I used Barely Banana for the base, with a layer of Orchid Opulence, the image is stamped on Whisper White and the scalloped circle is Pretty in Pink, all from Stampin'Up!. The PP is from a stack that my Mom gave me and it was perfect for an Easter card! I ran it through my CB with the Swiss Dots embossing folder and sanded it to give a little "umph"...lol.I coloured my chick with my Prisma colour pencils and added some sparkle with yellow Stickles. To top it off, I added some ribbon and flowers and a yellow brad from my stash. Thats it for today,I have to start getting ready for work and maybe I'll spend a few minutes out on the balcony enjoying this glorious weather before I'm trapped inside for the rest of the day...Have a great day!

Well, here goes nothin'...
It's my first post...exciting and a little daunting. My hope is that I can have a blog full of inspiring, creative and pretty paper crafts. I'd love to be a part of a design team or two. I am so inspired by some of the amazing work I see on other blogs and I hope that by having my own blog, I can become a part of this wonderful world of stamping in a larger way...So, that being said, here is my first card...
This card features the lovely Addy 'tude is a Cupcake Diva from one of my favorite companies, Stamping Bella. I've used 5 colours of CS from Stampin'Up! (I'm a former demonstrator) Very Vanilla, Bashful Blue, Barely Banana, Chocolate Chip and Pretty in Pink. The DP is I think from DCWV "Sweets" collection. I ran the pink CS through my Cuttlebug using the Spots and Dots embossing folder and I also used my nesties from Spellbinders. I coloured Addy with my Prismacolour Pencils and a paint thinner. I need to find some Gamsol...I'm not sure that what I'm using is doing exactly what I want it to do, or is it just that I'm very new to the Prisma Pencils? I used a sheer dotted ribbon that I picked up at Michael's and a button from my stash. I finished the lovely lady off with some Stickles on her cupcakes. It's hard to make a card without some glitter...lol.
Alright, that seemed pretty long winded, but I'm sure that moving forward I'll be able to pare it down...I hope...
